Taki Kastanis

Class of 1991   
Taki attended Fenwick High School in Oak Park and graduated in 1995. He then studied at the University of Illinois at Chicago earning a degree in Business.
After graduation, Taki became a real estate broker, but knew his true passion was the restaurant industry. Following his dream, he became the Founder/Owner of YOLK, a hot breakfast destination in Chicago. Taki’s restaurant has received rave reviews from Metromix, Dining Out and Chicago Concierge. There are currently seven Chicago locations, three locations in Indianapolis and two in Dallas. Taki was recognized as a 40 under 40 Class of 2014 by the prestigious Greek America Foundation.

Peter D. Verros, J.D.

Class of 1991  
Peter attended Fenwick High School and graduated as an honor roll student in 1995. He continued his education at the University of Illinois at Urbana. He then transferred to Loyola University where he received in B.S. in Criminal Justice.
Peter was then accepted into the Chicago-Kent College of Law and received his J.D. in 2004. He began his career in tax law when he joined the Cook County Treasurer office as a staff attorney. He is presently a partner at Verros, Lafakis, and Berkshire, PC. His law firm is recognized in the area of tax appeals and property tax law.
In addition, Peter has been chosen as a 2013 Rising Star by Super Lawyers, an honor reserved for lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice. No more than 2.5 percent of lawyers under 40 years old are named to the Rising Star list.
