Katherine Maniatis Celik

Class of 1996   
Katherine graduated from Maine South High School in 2000. She then studied at DePaul University in Chicago and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. Katherine then continued her education at National Louis University and earned a Masters in Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an ELL endorsement. She currently is a teacher at the Guardian Angel School.

Filisa Koritsaris Mantas

Class of 1996   
Filisa attended St. Ignatius College Prep and graduated in 2000. She was nominated as Sophomore of the Year in 1997 and was a four-year Varsity Soccer player. She was also chosen to travel to Harlan, Kentucky to build homes for the needy during her senior year.
Filisa attended University of Dayton and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism. She was accepted into DePaul University’s prestigious Clinical Model program for Education where she received her M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction and became an elementary school teacher.
She received a second Master’s degree in Education Leadership with a Type 75 endorsement through the University of Illinois at Urbana. She was an instructor in the Triton College Early Childhood Department from 2000 to 2005. Filisa is currently Director of Operations for YOLK Restaurant Group and is president of the Plato Academy School Board. Filisa also serves as a teacher mentor at Plato Academy.
