Angeliki Kastanis

Class of 1994
Angeliki attended Fenwick High school, graduated in 1998 and was accepted by New York University.
Angeliki then attended the prestigious Irving B. Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago and earned Master of Public Policy degree in 2011. During graduate school, she worked as a research analyst intern for Chicago Public Schools and a consulting intern for the Chicago Community Trust.
Before embarking on a public policy career, Angeliki studied at Columbia College in Chicago and received a B.A. in Audio, Arts and Acoustics. She was the head sound mixer and audio editor for several documentary film shorts. Both her previous media projects and her policy work have focused on LGBTQ issues ranging from health and community activism to immigration.
Angeliki was a Policy Analyst at The Williams Institute, UCLA School of Law from 2001 until 2016. She is currently a Data Journalist/Analyst at The Associated Press with multiple publications.
