Joseph Adams, D.O.

Class of 2005  
Joseph attended North Ridge Prep where he graduated sixth in his class. He was not only a scholar, but also an athlete; he was a 3-year Varsity soccer player and Captain of the team. He was also 2-year Varsity baseball player. Joseph was on the Math Team and a volunteer at the Resurrection Nursing Home. His high school honors include AP Scholar, Illinois State Scholar and National Honors Society.
Joseph was accepted into the University of Illinois at Urbana’s Biochemistry Concentrated Program.  He is majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Joseph is an Undergraduate Intern at Beckman Institute where he is conducting research in the Molecular Muscle Physiology Laboratory. He is a volunteer at Carle Hospital and a member of both the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and AMSA Pre-Med Student Organization. Joseph received a Masters in Medical Sciences from Chicago Medical School of Rosalind Franklin University. He is a 2019 graduate of the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. Joseph is a Resident Physician in Internal Medicine at UIC/Advocate Christ Medical Center. He has been chosen Chief Resident for the year 2022.
