Irini Losoff

Class of 2006
Irini attended Niles North High School. She was not only on the honor roll, but also participated in Percussion Ensemble all four years. During her junior year, Irini’s ensemble was one of 10 that made it to Bands of America, the nation’s premier marching band organization. She was also a member of P.A.L.S., an organization that works with children with special needs and graduated in 2010.
Irini attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and received a B.A. in English and Secondary Education. She was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society for students with a GPA above a 3.5. She was also a student mentor at the university.  Irini was chosen to attend the University of Glasgow, Scotland, in a study-abroad program. After graduation, Irini lived in Germany and taught English at the Frankfurt International School preparing students for the International Baccalaureate exams. She recently graduated with a Masters in Library and Information Sciences.
Irini is currently a Reading/Language Arts Teacher at the Old Orchard Junior High School.
